World Autism Awareness Day 2020

World Autism Awareness Day 2020

Last Thursday we celebrated World Autism Day.  Inspired by an article from the Mom Kind, we asked you for any new, creative, innovative and ideally free activities, games or resources that you have come across in the last few weeks to keep children and students with autism entertained.  We got some great responses!

The winner of our competition was Lucy DBR and her answer was “We are currently giving our children structured games, like colour sorting, object sorting from bigger to smaller (bears, shapes etc.) and for some children, they are using trampolines and gym balls for self-regulation.”

There are some other great resources on the NCSE website and if you have any additions you’d like to tell us about, feel free to reach out to us on social.
